I am a fourth generation native Oregonian; I was born in Eugene and grew up in Ashland. I was ten years old when I decided I would be a criminal defense lawyer.
I graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and Political Science.
I received my Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School, where my studies focused on constitutional and criminal law. I have been an active member of the Oregon Country Fair since 1973, and have served on the Fair’s Board of Directors since 1999.
